About Us
Hobnob helps students find and connect with the college majors and career paths that match their unique blends of values, passions, and talents.
We do this by teaching our 3i Methodology through Hobnob bootcamps and Hobnob chapters. The bootcamps are professionally-led, one-day workshops and the chapters are free, student-led groups that meet weekly on college campuses.

Chapter leaders wanted:
We're looking for student leaders to help us launch our next Hobnob chapter at GA Tech.
If you know a student who'd be great for the position, encourage them to apply here!______________________ Happy Hobnobbers:"I always thought my notions of a 'dream' career were foolish, but after going through a Hobnob bootcamp, I came to understand what jobs I’m most suited for, and I’m heading in that direction. Ben Harris and Phil Chen are knowledgeable and professional teachers who create an atmosphere that is conducive and comfortable to figuring out who you are. I believe in what Hobnob stands for and I would HIGHLY recommend them to any college student who doesn’t know what to major in. I really wish Hobnob existed when I first went to college. Thank you, Hobnob!"
-Thom C.
"I wanted to thank you for establishing a Hobnob chapter on Emory's campus. I found all the tips very useful, especially the presentation on 30-second speeches. Without putting some of the advice I learned at Hobnob into practice during interviews, I would probably not have received an internship this summer. I hope you are able to expand the program in the fall!" -Sophia S.

What's new with Hobnob?
This past year, Hobnob has been busy attending conferences, meeting with professionals from around Atlanta, and helping students find their dream careers! Below you can read more about what we've been up to.

On July 10-11, we had the pleasure of attending the 90th annual Georgia Parent Teacher Association (GAPTA) Conference held at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta.
With a booth featuring anything and everything green, Hobnob grabbed the attention of hundreds of PTA members. Dressed to please in our matching, bright green polo shirts and armed with 275 homemade chocolate chip cookies with (you might have guessed) green frosting, the Hobnobbers spoke with PTA members about how Hobnob can help their students find and connect with their dream careers. We had great conversations with many parents excited about our program on both the college and high school levels.
Last, but not least, we're happy to announce that Maury Stephan won our raffle and will be taking home a green Ipod Shuffle! Above: The Hobnobbers at their booth in matching bright green polo shirts.

With the success of our chapter program at Emory University last semester, we are now focused on expanding the Hobnob chapters to other Atlanta-area college campuses. We are currently in the process of establishing a chapter at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
If you or someone you know might be interested in becoming a student leader for the upcoming Georgia Tech chapter, please find more information and apply here!

After receiving feedback from parents who wanted their children to get involved with Hobnob but who did not have time for a weekly commitment, we created Hobnob bootcamps.
These bootcamps offer the introspection phase of Hobnob's 3i Methodology in a professionally-led format that runs from 9am-5pm. This condensed version of our chapter program gives time-pressed students the tools to find their career direction and college majors. Additionally, Hobnob offers a $50 referral fee per attendee to partnering PTA groups and individuals.
We are offering several bootcamps this summer. Listed below are the next available dates:
 August 15th September 26th August 29th October 10th September 12th October 24th
Plus, we've got GREAT NEWS! If you register 3 or more weeks in advance, you can save $100 off the bootcamp price. Register 2 weeks in advance and still save $50!

We're excited to be working with three fantastic interns this summer: Rebecca Flink, our PR ninja; Steve Saunders, our AV rockstar; and Sagar Dumbre, our IT guru:
REBECCA FLINK: Rebecca is Hobnob's Marketing and Public Relations Intern, also known as our PR Ninja. She is a rising senior at Emory University with a plan to double major in Chinese Language & Literature and East Asian Studies.
SAGAR DUMBRE: Sagar is Hobnob’s Information Technology Intern (or IT guru) and is responsible for website development and maintenance. Sagar graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in the Fall of 2008 with a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies at Mumbai University, majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
STEVE SAUNDERS: Steve is Hobnob's Video Production Intern-- but we like to call him our AV Rockstar. An Atlanta native, he recently graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor’s in Film Studies and English.
