Please pray for the people in the affected areas as well as those where the Tsunami is heading. The death toll has already risen above the 100 mark and will continue to rise as the days unfold.

 

Please pray for our involvement in the relief efforts in Chile and that we would go where the Lord leads as He guides us.

 

We continue to stay in touch with CC PauP and Pastor Seige. Things are moving along at CC Tent City and they continue to reach out and minister to their neighbors. We are also staying in touch with Patrick and Barb as they continue to go through their rehab in Tallahassee and await further guidance from them to help in any way we can.

 

We are currently in NYC, at the Bowery Mission, www.bowery.org, where we continue to foster our relationship with them and help them with their outreach ministries here. I was blessed to be able to speak to the house and community at the noon chapel service yesterday and believe the Lord will use some of what He said through me to help those who are struggling to get their lives right with the Lord. We continue to disciple one on one those individuals who we have befriended here over the last couple of years. We were blessed to be able to cook dinner last night, go on an outreach this morning (25 degree wind chill!!) and will also be cooking dinner tonight. They are currently serving about 350 for each meal. We will be here until late Monday afternoon and help out in any way we can. We are also spending some time debriefing from the Thanksgiving outreach last year as well as laying the ground work for the upcoming Thanksgiving outreach where we will be preparing meals for around 10,000 people in the NYC area. If you have any interest in helping out for this outreach, we will be taking applications soon, so please contact us. It’s a lot of hard work, but we have a really good time!

 

As we go and do what the Lord has us to do, we try to keep our focus on discipleship. While we manage to help out different areas and people, we know that we come and go and our focus is more on coming alongside the local ministry, the remnant and helping to disciple, pray with and encourage them as the Lord leads. Through all of this, we are also discipled as the Lord keeps us in the Word as we bring it to others. Pray for us as we continue to minister to those around us and that we would only share what God has for them and not what we think needs to be said and/or done.

 

We continue to covet your prayers and support, without which we couldn’t continue to be used the way we are, please keep it up!
