The 2009 Book of Golden Deeds Award Winner

Mr. Rick Eddie a longtime employee of AT&T and husband of Exchangite Sheryl Eddie received the 2009 Book of Golden Deeds Award at the Gator Exchange Club on July 27, 2010.

Rick was nominated by Chuck Debolt a former Book of Golden Deeds winner and supported by his longtime friend and coworker Richard Bearman. Fr. Roland Julien, pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gainesville, FL were Rick and Sheryl go to church read the nomination and spoke highly of Rick's contribution to the community.

Rick cooks or sets up and breaks down at events for the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County. He has made countless trips delivering clothing, food, and funds to needy families. He cooks breakfast for the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Scholarship Fund, the senior dinner at...
