This course is recommended as a good basic start or revision. It caters for participants from a wide range of backgrounds including education (secondary and tertiary), the fashion industry, small businesses, fledgling designers and individuals with an interest in fashion and design.
Participants will learn to measure the figure accurately and adjust standard size skirt, trouser and bodice block patterns to fit their personal measurements. A variety of style patterns will be developed in half scale culminating in a full-length evening dress incorporating the techniques learned during the workshop.
Each participant will receive a certificate on completion of the course and a ring binder of detailed notes of the developments taught.
