New Abort73 T-Shirt

For the first time in 11 months, I'm happy to announce the release of a brand-new Abort73 shirt. It's been a long time coming, but hopefully worth the wait! It's the first shirt we've printed on an AA 50/50 shirt (which I became a great admirer of this summer after purchasing a Forgive, Forget shirt from Prison Fellowship), and it's the first shirt we've done that incorporates photo elements. These two facts also combine to make it the most expensive shirt we've ever produced, but if you've got $18.10 to invest in a great shirt and a great cause, look no further.

New Abort73 Web Store

The new shirts actually arrived last week, but I couldn't bring myself to list them in the old web store. So... not only are we releasing a new shirt, but we're also releasing a new store. It's a bit of a "soft" release, since some of the items (pens, cards, bottles, etc.) have yet to make the switch, but it brings significant improvements to our old system, with plenty more to come. Most notably, the new store makes it much harder to buy items we're sold out of, indicates when certain items are close to selling out, offers a true, weight-based shipping system (for more accurate shipping charges), offers a more streamlined checkout process (with or without PayPal), and includes all sorts of real-people pictures of our shirts out on the street. We've also moved to a shirt-by-shirt pricing model (explained here), which means the price you pay for any given shirt directly relates to our actual production costs. While this translates to higher shirt prices for some shirts, it has also reduced the price on others. And best of all, it means that every shirt you buy at full price nets our ministry $4. The shirts still do a great job advertising Abort73.com, and Lord willing, they'll now be much more beneficial to Abort73's bottom line. New Abort73 Events

Right now, I'm en route to Southern California for three Abort73-related events this weekend. Friday night, we'll be in Murrieta. Saturday night we'll be in Santa Clarita (this event begins at 5:30, not 7:00, as previously listed) and again on Monday at the Master's College chapel. If you're in the area, please plan on coming. Each event will kick off with a worship session featuring Jacob Ronan of Soul Satisfied Music and end with me talking about the work and ministry of Abort73. In between, Jon Stead or David Hegg will be talking about why abortion is such an affront to God. We'll have some Abort73 gear on hand and hope to make some great connections over the weekend. Pray that the next few days will bear eternal fruit.
