I've been sitting on this email for a couple weeks now because the brand new resource that I want to feature ran into a bit of a production snag. In the meantime, the new additions to the Abort73 site have continued to pile up. I can wait no longer. So before I tell you about our new Life Stories booklets, note the following additions:
- Bulk Shirt Pricing: Now if you buy 2 or more shirts, you can save up to 30% off our normal shirt prices. See the Bulk Discounts table on each shirt page for a full breakdown.
- Cheaper International Shipping Rates: We've added a cheaper international shipping option to the new web store.
- New Shirts in Stock: We've restocked our GUNS unisex, GUNS womens, ALIVE unisex, ALIVE womens, ALIVE hoodies, and END THE IGNORANCE womens shirts.
- Abort73 Flyers: Print-to-order, quarter-page flyers are now available. Choose your design combination and put them to work.
- Abort73 Videos: We've finally compiled all the Abort73 videos into one place. View them online, on your iphone, or download them for presentations.
- Updated State Abortion Laws Page: We just updated our State Abortion Laws page to reflect the most current data as reported by the Guttmacher Institute.
- New Donation Video: Three reasons to consider supporting Abort73 financially.
- New Donation Section: We've entirely redone our online donation process, allowing you to make one-time or ongoing donations, with or without PayPal.
- Abortion Regrets Testimony: We've moved this section over to the updated page format and reconnected the input feature. Read what women have said about their abortion experience, and if you've gone through an abortion yourself, please add your story as well.
- Finding Help: The Finding Help Section, which includes If You're Pregnant, If You've Aborted, If You Perform Abortions, If You Doubt that Life Matters, and If You Wonder Why the World is So Messed Up has been entirely redone. Most notably, the pregnancy help section has been updated to include some of the prenatal imagery from our Prenatal Development section and some of the abortion images from our Abortion Pictures section. We've also streamlined the connection to OptionLine.org, making it even simpler for women to find local help.
I also want to mention two unique ways to provide some extra financial support to Abort73 this month. First, a new pro-life organization called Laces for Life will be donating all of their July proceeds to Abort73. Each month, the sales of their "Laces for Life" branded shoe laces (available in blue or pink) are donated to a different pro-life group, and we're the beneficiary this July. You can learn more at their website: www.lacesforlife.org. Second, Mike Walker is a painter from Kentucky who donated to us a signed print of his pro-life painting, 1973 (at left). We've listed the 11" x 14" print (in a 16" x 20" mat) on Ebay and all the proceeds from the sale will go to Abort73. We're also auctioning off some irregular Abort73 T-shirts, so take a look at those as well.
Whew, now to the main focus of the email. I am so excited to announce the release of the first booklet in our new Life Stories series, entitled, You Care About Me, Right?: An Open Letter to Abortion Advocates. I first read this letter about 2 years ago and have been itching to get it into print ever since. Once you read it yourself, you'll see why I'm so anxious to put this booklet into the hands of as many abortion-vulnerable women as possible. I can't help but believe that every Pregnancy Care Center director in the country will want to add this to their counseling arsenal, and once they do, it should vastly increase the exposure of the Abort73 website as well. Unfortunately, the first run of these booklets was a bit disappointing. I had them printed on thinner paper than we've used in the past (not a good decision) and some of the colors just didn't pop as I'd hoped. As you probably know, we put just as much focus on presentation as we do on content, so I wasn't willing to release what I considered to be a sub-par product. As such, the booklets are reprinting on thicker paper with some minor color fixes and are scheduled to arrive here on July 1. Once they do, we'll begin marketing them full-throttle. In the meantime, I still need to figure out a good use for the first run. I've got 9,000 of these booklets. They're not perfect, but they're too valuable to just throw away. If anyone has a suggestion for a good way to put them to use, let me know. And be praying for the production and release of the second run. I'm praying this will begin a significant new chapter in the life and ministry of Abort73.
Stay tuned and thanks for your support!
