I've been sitting on this email for a couple weeks now because the brand new resource that I want to feature ran into a bit of a production snag. In the meantime, the new additions to the Abort73 site have continued to pile up. I can wait no longer. So before I tell you about our new Life Stories booklets, note the following additions:

I also want to mention two unique ways to provide some extra financial support to Abort73 this month. First, a new pro-life organization called Laces for Life will be donating all of their July proceeds to Abort73. Each month, the sales of their "Laces for Life" branded shoe laces (available in blue or pink) are donated to a different pro-life group, and we're the beneficiary this July. You can learn more at their website: www.lacesforlife.org. Second, Mike Walker is a painter from Kentucky who donated to us a signed print of his pro-life painting, 1973 (at left). We've listed the 11" x 14" print (in a 16" x 20" mat) on Ebay and all the proceeds from the sale will go to Abort73. We're also auctioning off some irregular Abort73 T-shirts, so take a look at those as well.

Whew, now to the main focus of the email. I am so excited to announce the release of the first booklet in our new Life Stories series, entitled, You Care About Me, Right?: An Open Letter to Abortion Advocates. I first read this letter about 2 years ago and have been itching to get it into print ever since. Once you read it yourself, you'll see why I'm so anxious to put this booklet into the hands of as many abortion-vulnerable women as possible. I can't help but believe that every Pregnancy Care Center director in the country will want to add this to their counseling arsenal, and once they do, it should vastly increase the exposure of the Abort73 website as well. Unfortunately, the first run of these booklets was a bit disappointing. I had them printed on thinner paper than we've used in the past (not a good decision) and some of the colors just didn't pop as I'd hoped. As you probably know, we put just as much focus on presentation as we do on content, so I wasn't willing to release what I considered to be a sub-par product. As such, the booklets are reprinting on thicker paper with some minor color fixes and are scheduled to arrive here on July 1. Once they do, we'll begin marketing them full-throttle. In the meantime, I still need to figure out a good use for the first run. I've got 9,000 of these booklets. They're not perfect, but they're too valuable to just throw away. If anyone has a suggestion for a good way to put them to use, let me know. And be praying for the production and release of the second run. I'm praying this will begin a significant new chapter in the life and ministry of Abort73.

Stay tuned and thanks for your support!
