What Are You Hungry For?

As the new Nutrition Expert at More of Me to Love, I wanted to start you off with a tip that is a cornerstone of the Health at Every Size methodology that I believe in: learning to identify what we're really hungry for. This week, whenever you find yourself in front of an open refrigerator or pantry, ask yourself the question - aloud at first - "What am I hungry for?" Try to identify if it's really food you want or something else entirely. Satisfying hunger is sometimes about more than food, and we want to make sure we’re caring for our emotional needs as well.

This week, I want to share a basic yoga exercise with you that helped me increase my core strength and flexibility. I’m no yoga guru, but I do enjoy the simplicity and effectiveness of many yoga moves that I’ve learned in classes in past years.
