February News

 Congratulations Jennifer!

Our resident Research Scientist Jennifer Bexley has another publication to her name.

Her paper, entitled "Levels of house dust mite-specific serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) in different cat populations using a monoclonal based anti-IgE anzyme-linked-immunosorbent assay (ELISA)", has been published in Veterinary Dermatology (Vol 20, Issue 5-6, Pg 562-568).

This paper shows that House Dust Mites are a significant allergen in cats and antibodies to them can be successfully detected using serology.
