einmaleins - We're pondering.

The days are flying by in a whirlwind.
The Summer heat reminds me of family vacation growing up close to the Alps. The ragged peaks, the hiking trips the smells and sounds of the mountain valleys and the fantastic simple food.

Last week we took the Kids to Hood River along the Columbia River in Oregon and spend the day eating ice cream, watching kite surfers and exploring the rolling hills along the mighty river. Those are the precious moments in life and those are the ones that beg to be treasured, remembered and cherished. Sit back for a moment and breathe. Enjoy what you have and what you experienced in your life. In the Evening at dinner on our back porch Sam pretents we in a restaurant. He sits down, let's us wait on him and he's excited to tell us what he loves about the evening, the food he's eating and his family.
Those are the moments worth living for.
