PragueHub @ Coffice, Close to Launch !
Hi All,
It has been very quiet around PragueHUB during the summer.
This however does not mean that we did not continue with our plans, looking for space and ways how to bootstrap Coworking in Prague.
During this silent period we've been happy to receive quit a lot of questions from different people about the status of PragueHUB, when a space would be available, etc.
This to me confirms that there is still a need and interest in the ideas around Coworking in Prague.
Well now.... I'm very happy to announce (also check the post on the pragueHUB site) that we are now very close to making Coworking reality in Prague!
By sheer luck we've met with David Odstrcil who has just started Coffice and they are about to sign the lease of a great space in the middle of Vinohrady at JZP metro.
To explain the new collaboration... PragueHUB will focus more on building the Coworking member base and community, marketing the Coworking space, organising interesting events and developing additional services whereas Coffice will be more focussed on managing the Coworking facilities and services.
 The space Coffice has found is at the ground floor of a representative building on Vinohradska with access to a patio/garden and will offer space for 15-20 people in three rooms (out of which one meeting room and one larger open space). The facilities provided at start will be 24h access, a comfortable desk and chair, high speed internet (wifi), print/copy/scan facilities, kitchen and social space, free coffee, tea and water. We'll develop additional services later on and if we see the need. There is paid parking on the other side of the street and free (limited) parking at Flora shopping center, one stop away by metro.
We believe that full time access would not need to cost more than 3.500 CZK per month (plus membership). The price for using the facilities 2/3 days a week or for dropping-in will be relative to this price.
The plan is to open in November but to make everything final and before Coffice will sign the lease we'd like to get an update on the current interest in Coworking @ Coffice and in becoming a member of PragueHUB.

So, if all goes well, there is still a substantial interest and we'll have the possibility to start with a small group of resident and flexible Coworkers, we should open in November with some interesting event to show the space to the community. We hope to see you there !
