I know there are Internet sites where you can find out the hottest news items or the 50 topics that people are talking about the most, or something similar. I seriously doubt that the Berber people of North Africa would show up on any of these lists.

For the most part, the world of the Berbers is not one with a lot of hope or great prospects for the future. They live under great oppression. Yet many do not realize they are living under oppression until they accept Christ. Note this letter from a believing Berber couple:

My wife suggested to start our letter with the verse Romans 8:31, ‘What shall we say if God is for us, who can be against us?’ Nobody! We thank you for the spiritual food that you send us each day by the radio waves. The spiritual fight that we lead is very intense. The devil attacks us night and day. We receive all kinds of threats, even death threats. However, we are not afraid because the victory is on our side...
