Spring 2010 St. Mary's Reading Rotarian Program The spring 2010 St. Mary’s Reading Rotarian Program is scheduled for April 7 to 9th and the week of April 12-16th. All EVSC 1st grade classes are included in this program. The selected book for this period is: “I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato” by Lauren Child. Time and dates vary with each school, however, if there is a particular school you would like to read at, you may contact Cathy Renner at 812-455-8900 to secure that spot. Sign up sheets and books are available at the back of the room before and after the Tuesday meetings. It takes so little time – approximately 15 minutes – to reap such great rewards.

District 6580 Assembly Rotary District 6580 Assembly is Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Applied Technology building, Vincennes University, Vincennes, Indiana.
District Conference Mark your calendar for the District 6580 Conference on April 23-24 at the IU Memorial Union in Bloomington. The District web site www.rotary6580.org has all the information and registration forms needed. All attendees must register; however, the registration fee of $35 is waived if you are a non-Rotarian spouse or guest, Rotaract or Interact member, GSE, YE, Ambassadorial Scholar or a Rotarian who has joined Rotary since April 30, 2009. The last day that you may register for the conference is April 17, 2010. We look forward to seeing you at the District Conference April 23-24. GSE Host Families Needed The GSE team will be here in our area from April 25 until the 28th. We have 2 women and 2 men along with the Team leader. This year's team is from the Netherlands. All speak English and have no special food requirements. They are all in their 20's except for the Team leader who is 61. We'll need host families in the Evansville area for 4 nights with possible two evening meals, one on Sunday evening and possibly Wed evening. We have had two families already volunteer – J.T. North Woods Clean-Up Day A clean up day for North Woods is planned for Saturday, May 1st from 9 am to 12 noon. We will be working with Evansville Park's Foundation volunteers. Mark your calendars and let Christy know if you can assist.
