GSE Hosts Needed The GSE team will be here in our area from April 25 until the 28th. We have 2 women and 2 men along with the Team leader. This year's team is from the Netherlands. All speak English and have no special food requirements. They are all in their 20's except for the Team leader who is 61. We'll need host families in the Evansville area for 4 nights with possible two evening meals, one on Sunday evening and possibly Wed evening. We have had two families already volunteer – J.T. McCarty and Amy Walker. We need one more family to volunteer. Please contact Christy Scroggins at info@evansvillerotary.com or 962-4687 if you are interested in hosting a team member.
Also, we are looking for vocational hosts as well. These are the interests of the GSE team. Please let Christy (962-4687) know if you can serve as a job host for one team member on Wednesday: Carolien (interior architect office, interior designers, furniture designers), Yvette (US Government), Ivo (farming, users of auto guidance equipment, farm equipment suppliers, agricultural education), Thijs (financial institutions, banks credit unions, chamber of commerce), and George (banking, financial management). Also if you can serve as a driver while the team is here please let Christy know. This is a joint effort so everyone is needed and welcome to participate. It is a great opportunity to meet and interact with individuals who are here to learn about the people of southwestern Indiana.
North Woods Clean-Up Day The clean up day for North Woods is fast approaching. The day and time is Saturday, May 1st from 9am to 12noon. We will be working with Evansville Park's Foundation volunteers. Mark your calendars and let Christy Scroggins, 962-4687, know if you can assist.
