1.Scavenger Hunt (3/13)
Compete with other Angelinos for the title of most L.A. street smart at JETAASC’s annual scavenger hunt! After the scavenger hunt, meet us back at Little Tokyo’s beloved izakaya Oiwake’s for dinner at 6pm.

In honor of the upcoming release of former JET Aaron Woolfolk’s film, The Harimaya Bridge, JETAASC is planning an event to watch the film on opening night, March 26th. To support Aaron, we hope you all can make The Harimaya Bridge event: dinner and then the film at the Laemmle Music Hall 3. Show times have not been set, but look for more information in an upcoming newsletter.

Federal employees with a strong career interest in issues of importance to the U.S.-Japan relationship now have the opportunity to apply for a Mike Mansfield Fellowship.
During the two-year program, Fellows spend a year working full-time in Japanese government offices, preceded by a year of full-time rigorous language and area studies training in the United States.

Foreign Affairs is now accepting applications for its Academic Year Internship.
The internship is a full-time, paid position offering an exceptional training in serious journalism. The length of the internship is one year, beginning in August. Deadline: Applications for the 2010-2011 academic year internship must be postmarked by Friday, March 12, 2010.
