Hello <<First Name>>! I know I look pretty normal on the outside, but yes, I have a two year old at home. Sure, there's a six year old too, but he's too much of a pleaser to cause us trouble. It's the two year old that likes to cause ruckus: fighting us every single step of the way from what fork he wants to use, to what he wants to wear to insisting on going outside in the pouring rain! Somehow we convinced the toddler that it was his idea to wear big boy pants and as such potty training has gone like a dream. However the one thing we have battled with for almost 3 years now, is sleep! We've actually asked his day care provider to drop his day time nap because the little so-and-so likes to kick and yell and fight sleep for an hour or two every evening. How do you handle a 'spirited' toddler?
Welcome to our new sponsor: Studio Arts for Dancers: Fantasy Themed Summer Camps to Delight the Kids! Studio Arts for Dancers offers a lovely combination of dance, expressive movement, imaginative games and creative arts during their two summer camps this June. Feel like a fairy princess at the Cinderella Ballet and Art Camp (June 21-25). Besides ballet, children will learn how to make tiaras, wands and props for their final performance. Go on safari during Jungle Pride Safari Dance/Art Camp (June 28th-July 2nd). Children will learn an African story telling dance, play rhythm sticks, make masks, play safari games and even create a safari mural as a backdrop for the in-studio performance. No previous dance experience is necessary.
