First Open Source Sites Launch
Newschoolyard is sending you this news blast as a follow-up to introducing the first open-source web system for independent schools at NAIS AC10 in San Francisco last February. We might have met you there, or at one of a number of other conferences, or you signed up to receive our newsletter online--OR, perhaps you're simply an old friend.
Save a bundle, be a hero: partner with Newschoolyard!
Our school-specific system is built on the open source Drupal platform--the same platform running WhiteHouse.gov, Amherst College, Amnesty International, and hundreds of thousands of other sites. We deliver a ton of form and function at a fraction of the cost of proprietary solutions. In fact, our lowest price point is free. We require no contract term. Complete pricing information is available on our website at http://newschoolyard.com/price. For the first time, a fully featured dynamic web system for independent schools is affordable within any school budget. We believe that open source solutions are not just more affordable, but are also more sustainable, and that schools looking to the future will look to open source solutions.
Check out the new work.
Hawai'i Preparatory Academy went live last week and is a unique collaboration of Newschoolyard design and Drupal consultation within an existing set of Drupal tools. RDS and NNS will launch within days. Most content is secured but the links at left will provide an initial sense of what we're offering. In the case of NNS and RDS, bear with us as these sites are still actively in development. For a complete tour of our system, please request an online demo at http://newschoolyard.com/sign-up, or send an email to mark@newschoolyard.com.
