The runners from Oestreicher+Wagner were really successful at the company run on July, 22nd. Despite the bad weather conditions, everybody had lots of fun and all runners are satisfied with their performance.
The fastest of the OE+W team was one of the CEOs, Rudolf Uselmann. He finished in 30:15 minutes and reached position no. 69 in the ranking „The fastest Boss”. The fastest woman of the team was his daughter Verena with only 10 seconds more to finish the 6.5 kilometres. Rudolf Uselmann: „I didn’t expect to be that fast. But I was able to start quite early in front of the main crowd. Normally my daughter is faster than me, but the jam on the track probably slowed her down.”
Good mood despite the heavy rain at the team booth
In the mixed-ranking, the best OE+W team reached position 322, consisting of our neighbours from Greenhouse, Daniel Buller and Florian Lang and the family Uselmann.
The After-Run-Party did not take place because of the heavy rain. But this did not influence the good mood at the team booth: Whilst securing the tent and drinking a cold beer, the run was discussed. Next year Oestreicher+Wagner will surely participate in the B2RUN again. Romanus Schwarz from the Interactive-department reached an unexpected result in the run and volunteered to be coach next year. Young editors at OE+W
Uncommon young guests visited Oestreicher+Wagner on July 26th: Eight fourth grade pupils from the Montessori-School watched their school magazine being printed. In the past term they created the 28-page magazine. They wrote the artikles of „Füller – Die Schülerzeitung der Schreibwerkstatt” by themselves and layouted it with the help from the graphic design bureau ICOM. For printing the issue they chose OE+W. And Oestreicher+Wagner invited the young editors to watch the printing process.
It was really exciting for the kids seeing their own magazine coming out of the machine as well as for us! A live-production in front of the customer and eight lively kids in the production room is not usual!
Open mouths signalised the enthusiasm of the pupils and they went home happy and proud with their own magazine.
