Survey time - the employee survey

Building on the positive feedback to the Employee Survey 2009, we are delighted to inform you of the launch of our Employee Survey 2010.

Working with Halcyon Recruitment, specialists in international shore based maritime recruitment, this survey gives you the perfect chance to let us know what motivates you in the workplace and draw attention to what is most important to you as an employee.

We will then collate the results and distribute our findings to all participants as well as a wide range of companies from major international shipping giants to smaller boutique organisations, industry bodies, key players and interested parties throughout the global shipping industry.

Your details will be kept in strict confidence : the results will be published with all participants details remaining anonymous.

If you choose to take part we will notify you of the results in July 2010.

This is your unique chance to ensure the international maritime industry understands what is most important to you as an employee.

Please complete our survey : http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/employee2010

The survey should take no more than a few minutes to complete and, for every participant, we will make a donation to The Chauncy Maples Trust.  Built in Glasgow in 1898, the steamer Chauncy Maples is the oldest ship in Africa still afloat.  She was a hospital ship but has not sailed for a decade and plans are now underway to renovate her as a floating clinic in order to provide medical treatment for lakeside villagers in Malawi.  Further information on this inspiring project that combines health service delivery, preservation of marine heritage and green engineering can be found at www.chauncymaples.org.

Thank you in advance for your valued participation!
