Making Pints and Taking Names Well, we're really doing it! MILKMADE's monthly ice cream membership begins in December 2009 with delivery service to the East Village area. Membership will be limited to the first 50 people who sign up and live in the delivery zipcodes of 10003, 10009, and 10012.
Sign up begins TODAY AT NOON, and is accessible through our website. (That signup link will go live at noon.) Inaugural pints will be delivered the first week of December.
MILKMADE will be expanding and officially launching on a larger scale in January 2010, opening up delivery to more zipcodes in New York City. Sign up for the waitlist (if you're receiving this newsletter, worry not - you're already on the waitlist for your zipcode) and we will keep you posted on delivery zones, schedules, etc. as they near.
How it Works We'll briefly explain how it works again:
You: You sign up for a three-month membership. The cost of a three-month membership is $50 for one pint a month of fresh, locally-sourced ice cream delivered right to your door.
Milkmaids: Each month we create two unique and seasonal flavors made with locally-sourced, high-quality, and real ingredients.
You again: You get to choose one of those two flavors, and which day of the week you would like to receive delivery of your pint.
Milkmaids again: We create and deliver the fresh pint of ice cream to your door. And don't worry, we'll arrange a pick-up option if you are not at home.
Us: We all become friends through the process. MILKMADE will host a number of Ice Cream Socials and Monthly Adventures to connect you to what goes into your monthly pint. We can't wait to meet you.
