- The World Scholar's Cup season is approaching; we will be having regional tournaments at MIT, UC Irvine, and Riverstone International School in Boise, Idaho. To qualify for the World Finals in Shanghai, you should participate in at least one regional or online tournament. We are looking for students to join our grassroots effort and becoming World Scholar's Cup leaders in their areas of the country - helping to build up teams and participation and contributing ideas as we continue to shape the program in its fourth year. If a place on our Regional Leadership Team might interest you, please email our executive director and former Academic Decathlon national champion coach, Chris Cerone, at chris@scholarscup.org. - DemiDec's newest illustrator, Vicky Ge, is a finalist in a competition for a new credit card design. I encourage you to check out her submission and, if you like it, to vote for it and spread the word! It doesn't feature any alpacas, alas, but it is nonetheless a wonderful piece of work.
