The Expo Advisory Committee has named a new general services contractor for EXPO 2011 in Atlanta, GA, a move that will provide cost savings for all exhibitors.

After reviewing several proposals, the committee chose GES Exposition Services as the official General Services Contractor for Expo 2011. The attractive pricing and service plan provides incentives for exhibitors to display heavy machinery and equipment on the exposition show floor.

“In a challenging economy, Expo is seeking opportunities to reduce costs and encourage participation in our event,” said Expo Director Eric Gee.

“Expo has been an important part of the SFPA tradition for six decades, and we’re focused on making the type of changes that will keep the show an integral part of our industry in the years to come,” said Fritz Mason of Georgia-Pacific LLC, SFPA’s treasurer and chairman of the Expo committee.

Expo is tentatively scheduled for July 21-22, 2011 in Building A at the Georgia World Congress Center.  The 2011 exhibit space rates displayed below include booth carpet, heavy machinery and equipment drayage, and exhibit personnel badges.

Expo 2011 Exhibit Space Rates:
100 - 399 sq.ft.:      $15.50 per square foot
400 - 999 sq.ft.:      $14.50 per square foot
1000 - 1999 sq.ft:   $14.00 per square foot
2000+ sq.ft:            $13.50 per square foot
