Autumn at Club Marmalade Moon The Seventeenth Edition
It's been a while since I last sat down to create some desktop art for club members and to write you a letter! If you've visited Marmalade Moon, you've probably noticed that I've been focused on developing my art. Experimenting with photography, collages and watercolours.
My blog has evolved too, into a creative journal or letters from my studio. I write about things that inspire me and about my creative journey and I write from the same place that my creativity resides in.
I released a new set of Luminous Folder Icons. This time in joyous, energetic, sunny Orange. There are eight shades of orange folder icons to bring attention to your projects: Satsumas, Orange Peel, Pumpkin, Jack-o’-lantern, Cinnamon, Orange Rose, Cayenne, and Peach!
Upcoming Projects Club Marmalade Moon, Prints, Icons & The Holidays
For now, the issues of Club Marmalade Moon are somewhat sporadic, but I'm thinking of making them quarterly or seasonal, and would love to hear what you think! Would that be too often? I don't want to inundate you with e-mail!
I've also been thinking of creating a new set of Productive Icons, adding a few concepts that people have been asking for. Things like "To Print", "Receipts", "Gifts" and again, I'd love to hear what you think!
Next, I'd like to make prints and create patterns for textiles. I've got so many ideas, and I need to carve out time to work with these ideas. I'm trying to find ways to fit in a few Creative Minutes every day, even on days when there is no time. We'll see how it works out! Feel free to join me if you've got a creative project you'd like to keep your momentum with, finding methods to advance your creative dreams in micro-bites.
Finally, I'm already looking forward to the winter holidays! To baking and wrapping gifts. Christmas shopping in the medieval old town, building a snowball lantern on the balcony, reading books in soft pyjamas, turkey sandwiches, sheepskin boots and mulled wine.
