I am grateful to all of the candidates who offered themselves in service to the community as school board candidates, and I congratulate Vicki and Ron on being re-elected for new terms.
We are still facing very serious financial challenges for next school year and beyond. While the Manchester community met the challenge of supporting two critically important local proposals, there is a continued need for our elected officials in Lansing to address issues of reform and revenue for our public schools.
