Louis' Team In Training Progress Report
Hello Friends, Family, Neighbors, and Colleagues
Why are you receiving this? You have probably already received an email or two about my new partnership with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. I thought it would be interesting to send you periodic updates on my progress and information about new events. I realize that not everyone is interested in being the recipient of these newsletter type emails, so I'm using this email service to give you the option of opting out of receiving further emails. If you'd like to opt out, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of this email. But I hope you'll stay with me through this journey.
How am I doing? On the fund-raising front, I'm happy to report that I have already passed the halfway mark to my goal of $3900. Through your generosity I have raised over $2300 in 2 weeks. I know times are tough out there and I truly appreciate every dollar that comes in. If you plan to contribute but haven't yet, please go to my website now to make your donation - http://pages.teamintraining.org/los/ambbr09/lcetorelli. If you are not in a position to contribute, your support, encouragement, and well wishes are just as important to me.
My training is off to a good start. Last month I put 300 miles on my bike and so far this month I've logged nearly 200 miles. My stamina and speed are improving. The team is meeting regularly now, holding weekly clinics and rides. Last Saturday was a 25 mile ride hugging the Pacific Ocean. This week we'll add a few more miles and practice more techniques.
Another way to help. If you already shop at Amazon.com you can easily help me get closer to my fund-raising goal by using my just opened amazon.com affiliate store. Essentially you'll be shopping on Amazon but just through my custom storefront. I receive payment from Amazon of 4% - 6% of purchases which, in turn, I'll be passing on to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It cost nothing more to you, the shopper. I have books, electronics, video games, and cycling equipment available. So, if you shop Amazon, please remember to use my store: http://astore.amazon.com/tnt-leukemia-20. And please tell your friends.
