We invite you to join us for two unique events at White Walls and The Shooting Gallery this week. Friday, November 6th: Art for the House Saturday, November 7th: Stencil Workshop & Street Art Lecture Both events are free and open to the public. Details below:

Art for the House
Friday, November 6th at The Shooting Gallery 6-10pm Please join us for our 6th Urban Art auction to benefit the Central City Hospitality House. This noteworthy organization resides in our own Tenderloin district of San Francisco, and we back all their efforts to aid the local homeless community. Select artists include: Greg Gossel, Van Arno, KMNDZ, Fanee, Ramblin Worker, Bryan Schnelle, and Joshua Petker. This is a rare opportunity to see works by such artists in a very affordable price range. Come out to support the local community and walk away with something beautiful.
Stencil Workshop & Street Art Lecture
Saturday, November 7th 2009 at White Walls Stencil Workshop 3-4pm Street Art Lecture 4-5:30pm
As part of the Tenderloin's ongoing Wonderland project, we are excited to open our doors to the community for a free, hands on workshop. Three local graffiti artists, Apex, Vulcan, and Neonski, will be hosting a street art lecture and stencil workshop at White Walls Gallery to share their love of stencil art. It will be a fun time for all and we welcome artists of every level to participate. Montana is donating all spray paint for the workshop, and painting surfaces will be provided. We also encourage artists to bring their own stencils and any other surfaces they would like to stencil. For more information about this event, click here. We hope to see you at the galleries this week! |
