Screen Printing onto Glass Theresa Easton Demonstration Friday 1pm – 2pm Long associated with printed T-shirts, silk screening is actually a versatile technique. This demonstration will introduce viewers to the basic process of creating photographic artwork that can be printed onto glass using colourful glass enamels. Screen printed glass can be used architecturally, to enhance the fabric of a building or as individual pieces of art.
Fashion Jewellery Eileen Rowell Demonstration Friday 11am – 3pm (drop in) This drop-in demonstration will show the basic techniques for stringing, bending wire, attaching clasps and closing crimps in fashion and costume jewellery.
Hooky & Proggy Ali Rhind Demonstration Friday 2pm – 3pm (Drop in) Using traditional 'rag rug' techniques, Ali will explain the basics of this traditional craft. Viewers will also be able to have-a-go at this demonstration. Afterwards, there will be ample opportunity to chat and maybe even book yourself onto the next course!
Glass techniques Sue Woolhouse Demonstration Friday 10am – 11am A hands on demonstration of the principles of glass casting.
Jewellery techniques Jill Stewart Demonstration Friday 11am – 12 noon This demonstration will show some techniques for heat colouring of metals and present other methods for making marks and patterns in jewellery and metalwork.
Monoprinting Christmas Cards Allyson Blackman Workshop - All ages. Saturday 11am – 12 noon Sunday 1pm – 2pm Print your own original monoprints and create your own beautiful handmade Christmas cards! This workshop will provide you with everything you need to make fantastic prints.
Handmade printed books Theresa Easton Workshop - Age five to Adult Saturday 1pm – 3pm This introductory course to printmaking techniques and book binding skills is a great way to create a series of special Christmas gifts. Ideas to work from can be provided or bring your own! See them translated into colourful, textural prints, which will be transformed into a unique, pictorial artist’s book.

Drop in and creatively wrap your gifts for Christmas in vintage style with a contemporary twist.
Make a Glass Brooch Sue Woolhouse Workshop – Adults & Children Sunday 2pm – 4pm Make your own glass brooch at this very popular workshop. Come along and try your hand decorating a small brooch using glass frits or glass transfers. Once fired, brooches will be posted out.
Oriental/Chinese Stencil Cuts and Stipple Printing Mai Twynham Workshop – Adults & Children Friday 2.30pm – 3.30pm Saturday 3pm – 4pm Sunday 11am – 12noon These workshops will take place in Ouseburn Farm (ask for directions)* Bring your own T-shirt for this one! Influenced by traditional Chinese art and using a stencil cut, you will learn how to print your design onto a T-shirt or piece of fabric.
