Alcohol is bring your own - we recommend cans, but if you have glass bottles, you will need to bring plastic cups as well. Glass is not allowed inside the auditorium.

Feel like a derby road trip this month? The Dixie Derby Girls of Huntsville, AL, are hosting the “Rocket City RUMBLE”, a WFTDA regional invitational tournament, on Saturday, July 18.
This will be an all day derby event, featuring Atlanta’s own all-stars, the Dirty South Derby Girls, as well as all-star teams from Arkansas, New Orleans, Tampa, Nashville, and Huntsville. Come watch as six ferocious teams battle for victory! Tickets are $10.  Are you tired of watching from the sidelines as your rollergirl friends have all the fun? Do you wish it was you being knocked into a crowd of adoring spectators?
Well, why wait any longer? The Atlanta Rollergirls are looking for daring women (21+) to train in the fine art of kicking butt. Come on out to our skills workshop on July 11, and we'll teach you everything you need to know about roller derby—no skating experience required!
Our training workshops are held at the All American Skating Center, and only cost $5! Do it—we dare you! Saturday, July 11 (9 am-11 am)
Saturday, August 1 (9 am-11 am) Saturday, September 5 (9 am-11 am) The first round of tryouts will be held on Sunday, September 20th from 10 am-1 pm. If you'd like to be a part of the action, but hip checks aren't really your thing, consider training to be a referee or non-skating official. This is a great way for guys to be involved as well. ARG has been selected by the WFTDA to host the nation's South Central Regional Tournament, September 25-27, 2009. This Southern Fried Smackdown will be the largest roller derby event ever held in the Southeast, with athletes and fans from more than 15 states in attendance!

About The Game Schedule ARG Teams Recruitment Scrapbook Sponsors  Our very own All-Star team, the Dirty South Derby Girls, traveled to Philadelphia for their annual Tournament known as the East Coast Derby Extravaganza. Nationally competitive teams come from all of the East to play against one another.
DSDG played two games in the tournament. On Saturday, they beat Montreal 137 to 116, and on Sunday they lost to higher-ranked Cinncinati 64 to 121. 
Join us at the Brewhouse Cafe in Little Five Points on July 30th for our monthly Spirit Night! After 5 pm, 10% of the profits for the evening will go to our league, which is skater-owned and operated, and relies on fans like you to keep us skating. You can watch bouts on the big screen TV while sipping on a delicious Painkiller, the Brewhouse's signature drink. So come out on July 30th, meet some rollergirls, and help us continue to bring you some awesome derby action!
