Salvation Army still needs Red Kettle Volunteers in all communities
Columbus residents in need are signing up for Christmas Cheer food and toys (Near East, Hilltop, Northland and Worthington); Red Kettle ringing begins today at Anderson's General Stores (Brice Road and Sawmill)

Nov. 16, 2009 (Columbus, OH) - Today is a busy day at Salvation Army locations around Franklin County. A few select locations are beginning bell ringing at Red Kettles today, to raise funds to help residents year round. Anderson's General Stores are the primary locations beginning Red Kettles today. At the same time, The Salvation Army has opened its doors for signup for its main Christmas assistance program, Christmas Cheer.
Red Kettle Volunteers are still needed. Sign up at this Web site [http://www.salvationarmycolumbus.org/christmas/bellringing.html], or call 614-304-1090. Volunteers are needed in ALL communities in Franklin and Delaware counties.
