**** WHAT'S NEW & WITH YOU? ****
Spring is a great time for making changes and I am very pleased to announce
that Lynn Brooks (see bio below) has joined the team. She'll be keeping a
low profile initially, but I expect by the end of the summer you will have
all had a chance to talk to her. Over the next months Lynn will be making
courtesy calls to introduce herself and get feedback on how we can improve
our services.

What changes are you making in your business right now? It's a great time to
think about productivity and raising the bar. Especially with the economy
making a turnaround. Lynn, for example, is part of a big push to
professionalize our customer service and be more proactive with our existing
clients. Other things you may have noticed is the new feedback tab in the
Site Ducky administration section and the new End-Of-Project surveys.

Here are some things you have told us you are doing:
* Starting complete new business ventures. Big increase in these numbers!
* Partnering with PPC (Pay Per Click) experts to increase Google AdWord
campaign effectiveness
* Initiating social media campaigns (Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Linked In,
etc.)
* Redirecting business from one service offering to another - that is more
sustainable and personally fulfilling
* Site redesign to be more competitive
* Adding new product/service offerings

And did you know that recently a Pew Research Study found that "small
businesses are the most trusted group in America?" (http://abcnews.go.com/Business/listen-government-small-business-trusted-group/story?id=10454669) Even more than churches
and colleges! That's us, folks! That just tickled me pink, so starting next
month in our newsletter we will be starting a new feature spotlighting our
client's businesses.

**** MEET OUR NEW STAFF MEMBER: LYNN BROOKS ****
Lynn was born and raised in Washington, DC. She has more than 25 years in
the corporate Customer Service industry. Along with a solid background in
training, public speaking and communication, Lynn brings a human and
personal side to the care of customers. She has acted as liaison between
corporations and decision-makers. Lynn excels in problem resolution,
providing satisfactory results, and usually exceeding client expectations.

Her training experience spans small intimate groups, speaking to groups of
over 500 people at a time, and leading webinars for hundred of participants.

In her spare time, Lynn enjoys reading mysteries, volunteering at local
animal shelters, and spending as much time as she can with her new
granddaughter!

What is your favorite tip for "going Green"?

Dawn: Buying local organic produce, free range dairy products and eating
less meat.
Rosemarie:Shopping at thrift stores - ultimate recycling! & it's fun too!
Lynn: Using fluorescent light bulbs.
Eliza: Dawn stole my answer ;-)
Mostly, I'm working on being a "locavore."
