Kevin moved from his native town of Bognor Regis with a burning ambition to become a successful stand-up comic. In 2006 he did his first and very well received Edinburgh show Kevin Shepherd: Comics Die in Hot Cars. His friendly face and manic energy are proving successful with all types of audience. He has travelled the length and breadth of the country performing and even travelled as far afield as Bahrain. However his love of performing means that his mission to entertain the world has only just begun.

A relatively new face on the stand-up circuit, it didn’t take John Newton long to find his feet. With material by the spoonful ready to lead people on a series of whimsical journeys, he has even the hardest audiences spellbound by his penetrating narratives. Add to this some subtle and often sublimely tasteless comedy, and you have the basis for a strange, but oh so amusing night out. You might even find yourself contemplating such obscure subjects as the socio-economic stability of Thomas the Tank Engine’s island home, which as any parent will tell you, is very strange place indeed.
