Abnormally Funny People (Sky), The Sound Barrier (BBC), Natural Born Talent (Ch4)
Steve Day is a truly unique comedian - warm, witty and engaging whilst dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. His stories of multiple children, wearing a suit and the problems caused by not knowing how words are pronounced will have audiences in raptures, and his uplifting tales of overcoming the obstacles in his path will leave crowds feeling inspired.
HEADLINE – PAUL PIRIE
"Fizzing with energy and spewing out one-liners like he had just scoffed a dodgy prawn, Pirie is a man we will be seeing more of" Daily Record
Paul has had a consecutive succession of sell out shows at The Glasgow Comedy Festival, most recently in 2007, with his first solo show, "I Pirie the Fool". Previous to this, his comedic ability was recognized in 2006 as he took second place in the Scottish Comedian of the Year Award, and his outstanding performances and comical writings were included in "Scotland 4 Australia 1" at the Glasgow Comedy Festival once again.
