Tigé launches revolutionary MyWake Global Wakesurf Challenge powered by Wake9

WakesurferTigé Boats, Inc. and Wake9.com are teaming up to bring to you the MyWake Global WakeSurf Challenge this summer. This revolutionary event merges today’s most progressive wake surf boat manufacturer with the latest in web technology for this online competition format. Any boat, any rider - It’s your lake and your wake, with mywake.tige.com playing host to the interactive video competition. The site allows all viewers to watch contest video submissions and be part of the judging panel for their favorite surf sessions, along with a professional panel of official AWSA judges to decide the winner of each class.

MyWake Global WakeSurf Challenge has a fully functional web-site specifically set up for this cyber competition. Upload your 2-minute wake surf run, on your favorite local lake, in the conditions of your choice, with your driver who has “dialed in” your wake.  Best of all, you can submit your run as many times as you like, with your latest being the final one for judging. Videos will be accepted until August 30. The competition is open for anyone to enter.

The latest in website interaction is implemented at mywake.tige.com - click on “riders” and see how you can interactively filter results, using the search criteria on screen right – It’s very cool!  Not to forget the importance of your own social network, you can connect to your Facebook and Twitter page when you register for the MyWake Global WakeSurf Challenge.  Allowing your friends and followers to stay connected to your latest session.

Boat and Wakesurfer“We are very excited to work with Wake9.com to bring this revolutionary competition format. It is truly the first global wake competition that is accessible to everyone, as well as pushing the growth of wake surfing no matter where you live or what boat you ride behind.” said Daniel Gutierrez, Director of Design & Marketing for Tigé Boats.

Voting by viewers is available now, with final judging by official AWSA judges and announcing of winners in the various classes to be done on Labor Day. Cash awards will be presented to the winners of each class in the competition. Show support for the wake surfing sport, show support for your local lake – register now!   Complete instructions for registration can be found at mywake.tige.com. Detailed instructions and surf-related podcasts/videos are embedded at wake9.com
