New Disability and Term Life Benefits for Members Starting April 1
As we announced in a recent CAP News Direct, CAP Physicians Insurance Agency, Inc. will soon offer an enhanced benefit for all of our members.
Effective April 1, 2010, CAP members will automatically receive $2,000 of monthly Disability insurance coverage versus the previous coverage of $1,500 per month. Also included as part of their membership is a new benefit of $20,000 in Term Life insurance. Additional protection of guaranteed coverage is available for a limited time at discounted group rates.
“We believe these benefits are of great value to CAP members,” says Howard Auger, president, CAP Physicians Insurance Agency, Inc. “And members do not have to do anything to qualify.”

Enjoy Broadway Today! in Modesto
 CAP is proud to sponsor Broadway Today!, a performance and reception on April 3 at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto. Seasoned performers David Burnham, Julia Murney, Lisa Howard and Jason Graae let you experience Wicked, MAMMA MIA!, Jersey Boys, Spamalot, The Producers and more, all in one show.

The next Litigation Education Retreat is scheduled for Saturday, April 10 at our Orange County office. - Senior Account Executive Dan Cavanaugh will attend the Fresno-Madera Medical Society's 59th Annual Yosemite Postgraduate Institute on Friday, March 26.
- On April 8-11, Senior Account Executive Dorine Leong and Account Executive Tram Nguyen will attend the California Health Care Leadership Academy/MGMA Conference at the San Diego Marriott Hotel.
- Senior Account Executives Gary Homer and Dan Cavanaugh will attend the California Orthopaedic Association Annual Meeting in Lake Tahoe on April 16-18.

Congratulations!
We would like to congratulate Central California District Council member Calvin Lee, MD and CAP Board Member Tammy Wu, MD for their involvement in the first Modesto Marathon, which took place on March 21. Surgical Artistry, Inc. sponsored the inaugural event and played an active role in the pre-marathon expo and the race itself. Both Dr. Lee and Dr. Wu ran in the marathon, completing the full marathon and the half marathon, respectively. Congratulations on your accomplishments! |
