Planting Season...

Dear <<First Name>>,

On a recent walk in the woods, the Henry kids enjoyed the trees, now slowly "undressing" for winter. It's autumn; baseball season is over, but for the Henrys, planting season is just beginning.

To kick off the "season," Phil and Polly hosted an open house celebration on Nov. 1 where fifty people (friends, neighbors) came to share in the joy of their move and new ministry.

Earlier last month, Phil gathered with an advisory team of men here in Gloucester County to begin leading the work of the new church, and Phil hired a volunteer administrative assistant to help with some of the many organizational details.

Looking ahead this month, the Henrys are...

  1. beginning a missional community (like a small group) in their neighborhood
  2. leading a discussion group at a local book store
  3. preparing for a prelaunch worship service in the next month or so, and:
  4. planning a get-together in December

Meanwhile, Phil is staying focused on the overriding reason why he and his family have moved to New Jersey: to start a new church community that will make life-changing connections with unchurched and unbelieving people through the power of the Gospel.

Let the planting begin!

Seeds for Planting
Your prayers and financial support are needed during this critical gathering phase of the church plant.

With a new work like this, every pledge makes a big difference in our ability to go forward. With expenses projected to increase in 2010 with the start of a weekly worship service, it is more important than ever that the project's four year budget is complete

Will you please consider adding Phil and Polly Henry to your personal charitable giving budget this fall, or to your church's budget in 2010?

Your gift will be directly helpful in enabling this new work to move forward, and is 100% tax deductible.

You can download a pledge card here. Or, click here to make a one-time donation.

Thank you for your support!
