Pacific Grand Prix Donates Track Time to UW Formula SAE Local engineering students test car for SAE design competition Last weekend, Pacific Grand Prix at Pacific Raceways donated track time to the UW Formula SAE team to help them develop their team's car for the annual SAE design competition. The UW team returned from their track sessions full of good things to say about PGP: Some of you may have heard of the brand new, state of the art karting facility just built at Pacific Raceway. Well, the UW Formula team was one of the first to experience what Pacific Grand Prix has to offer. Thanks to the support [of] the staff at Pacific GP, the UW Formula Team has been able to test our car at this ideal location. This track has proven to be the best and grippiest surface we've yet to run our cars on and has allowed us to fully test the capabilities of our race car and most of all, the aerodynamics package. Pacific GP offers a unique course with 12 configurations and is available to many different forms of racing. From super-moto, to shifter karts, to their very own rental kart series, Pacific GP offers an experience for just about every age, every interest, and every skill level. They even offer lapping days for full size vehicles!
So if you're interested in having a great motorsports experience, check out Pacific GP and tell them the UW Formula SAE team sent you. You won't be disappointed! Check out the UW Formula SAE team at their website to offer your support! |
