Inside this issue... Exercise Your FaithHi <<First Name>>, One of the benefits I enjoy from a good workout is feeling sore muscles. Last week I did a pretty strenuous workout with my friend and couldn't lift my arms above my shoulders for a couple of days. Any time I laughed I remembered all those crunches we did.
I'm working out because, in addition to other health benefits, I want to be a stronger person. I want to be strong enough one day to run in a race and climb a mountain (even though I have a fear of heights). But it takes work. And it requires discipline and going beyond what's easy for my body.
The same thing is true of faith. If I want my faith to grow, I'm going to have to exercise it and take it beyond what's comfortable for me. It may be painful at times. It may seem that God is demanding more of me than I think I can give. But if God never asks me to go farther, to believe for more, how can I grow and get stronger?
Is God asking you to do some really difficult thing? Are there painful circumstances in your life that seem to be beyond your ability to bear? Maybe God is taking you on a spiritual workout so you can climb the next mountain and run the next race. Your faith muscles might get sore, but you'll be a stronger person because of it.

VeggieTales: Minnesota Cuke And The Search For Noah's Umbrella - DVD
Like almost all of the VeggieTales adventures, The Search for Noah's Umbrella includes many of our favorite vegetables (enough to get your daily recommended allowance) and lots of references to pop culture and movies. It's also educational for kids (and adults) and lots of fun along the way.
We're treated to a new "Silly Song" by Larry (you can never have too many of them), and plenty of action scenes reminiscent of the Indiana Jones franchise. Watch for secret passageways and Indiana Jones-like puzzles that must be solved either to get someone out of danger or to escape the bad guys.
After 16 years, the creators of VeggieTales still manage to surprise and delight us. Storylines are fresh and inventive, and the character lessons are applicable to any age. Who could have imagined Indiana Jones as a cucumber? Only Big Idea. It's not your mother's flannelgraph.
Heroes of the Bible The Bible is full of flawed, ordinary men and women that God used in extraordinary ways. Enjoy their stories in fresh new ways and be inspired to be someone God can use.

"Really really funny. I especially liked Jeff Allen and his routines about raising a teenager, and Taylor Mason and his puppets. I thought I would choke I was laughing so hard. I gave it four stars instead of five only because I didn't like the hostess--the lady from Raymond. She was just a little too much on the snarly side."
