Inside this issue... What Do Your Actions Say?Hi <<First Name>>, Do you know any unsung heroes? I'm thinking about people who quietly put Jesus' words into actions without looking for any praise or glory. They don't need someone to tell them they're doing the right thing, they just do it.
I have a friend who's taking the words of James' letter seriously by supporting widows and putting a couple of kids through school. Another friend and her husband adopted three girls whose parents are in and out of prison.
The Blind Side, which opens in theaters this week, is about a wealthy white family from Memphis who adopted a black teenager from the projects. After spending several weeks with them, Sandra Bullock, who plays the wife, said, "They have restored my faith in people of faith…they practice [their faith], they don't preach."
When I heard her say that, I wondered what my actions say about me. What does my life say when I'm silent? Hopefully it lines up with the words that come out of my mouth.

Dove Family-Approved Recommended for ages 12 and over Dove Review:
This is an amazing story about one man on the edge. David is on vacation but keeps having strange dreams that seem so real to him until he is wakened by his wife. Like the title of this film mentions, "in the blink of an eye" your life can change, and some people are not prepared for that important event that the Bible tells about. This is a story of believing, faith and redemption and a look into one man's chance for change before it is too late. We are happy to award our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal for ages 12 and over to this DVD.
