Get Involved, Support the Cause! Toiletries and Flip-Flop Drive - DONATE TODAY! Ignite has teamed up with The Gathering Inn, a Roseville homeless and support shelter, to put together a toiletries and flip-flop drive. There's a large homeless population in Roseville, and The Gathering Inn offers those in our community the basic necessities of life; a sense of dignity and a spirit of hope for the future by providing their guests with social, health and case management services that will help them become active participants in our community. What can you do to help? With the summer approaching, The Gathering Inn is looking for donations of miniature toiletries and flip-flop sandals for both men and women. Donations can be dropped off at the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, 650 Douglas Blvd., or you can request a donation box to be placed in your office. This donation drive will conclude at Ignite's summer mixer on June 18th, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Williams + Paddon Architects + Planners, Inc. Another way to help the cause… Liberty Mutual will donate $5 to The Gathering Inn for every auto, home, renters and life insurance quote given. Just mention The Gathering Inn, quotes are free and this promotion will run through the end of June 2010. Contact Jeremy Masters at (916) 781-2871 ext. 58034 or visit jeremy.masters@libertymutual.com

Q & A: What's your background? I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology.
What do you love about your job? There are many aspects that I love, I would say the two I love the most are: Counseling people (candidates) on their career progression and Consulting with all types of businesses on what is required to make great hires.
What do you love about the South Placer community? Like a lot of people back in 2000-2001, my wife and I left the Bay Area and moved up to the Roseville area to get out of the “rat race”, purchase a nice home, start a family, take advantage of the wonderful school system in South Placer, and contribute to a growing community. Happily, over the past nine years, we’ve done all of the above!
What's your favorite thing about Ignite? I like what Ignite stands for – helping to cultivate next-generation business leaders in our community. Also, I like that Ignite gives back to our community through service. Finally, since my business is based on relationship building – Ignite acts as another resource to acquire new business relationships and foster existing ones.
Last movie you saw? Since we have a 7 year old boy and a 3 year old girl, we don’t get out to the movies much, but the last movie I did see was Avatar. It was excellent!
When you're not working, where can we find you? Probably at the golf course, on the soccer field, or playing roller hockey.
Favorite restaurant, and why? I’m a big fan of Paul Martin;s because they have great food, their suppliers are local growers, and I like their ambiance. Mikunis would be a close second!
