The Cure for Boring Elearning...Action!
Each and every day, pointless elearning is forced upon bored learners who won’t be able to apply what they’ve learned on the job.  Our mission at TorranceLearning is to stop this waste of time, money, and brainpower dead in its tracks! Our clients know that more meaningful, interactive courses encourage real, active learning  – instead of just dumping content on the learner. Why does it matter? When we apply knowledge, we are able to absorb it better. We can reflect on it better, and we learn better.  Read more about interactivity and learning.

TL Joins Other Local Companies for Some Hands-On, Geeky Fun!

TorranceLearning took part in the 2nd annual Local Tech Event at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum on Saturday, May 22. Billed as a "geek event for the whole family," the event showcased 24 local exhibitors and drew 440 people. Great live music, delicious food, and lots of technology to explore all added to the fun atmosphere.

Adults & kids alike stopped by the TorranceLearning table to find out about elearning. We brought along examples of some of our projects for people to check out, including the brand new Hands-On Museum eClickMap tour, which we debuted for the event. The eClickMap is online at the Hands-On Museum's website.

Adding to the energy of the event were the TorranceLearning team’s collective kids – five in all. They had a great time riding gyroscopic scooters, playing games, testing out air cannons, building impressive structures out of foam bricks, and running around a museum uniquely created for such good-natured mayhem.
