Dear Mr PreViser Summer 2010 Newsletter
We are delighted to see Risk Assessment and PreViser being discussed in so many different forums, from Universities to the NHS to Denplan to Dental Update and to BSP and Independent Seminars. You cannot help but notice the consistent message about how risk assessment should form the basis of your treatment planning. A rolling 10-15% of the population are particularly susceptible to periodontitis and the other increased health risks that follow. PreViser gives you the tools to very simply explain to your patients exactly where they stand, so that they have the awareness and motivation to work with you to stop the disease in its tracks.
New Blog
We have started a new PreViser UK blog to keep you up to date with the world of PreViser, Risk Assessment and Perio. Please do keep an eye on it, or indeed subscribe to updates. All perio content is edited by Prof Iain Chapple so is an excellent source of the latest evidence. Subjects covered so far include: If there are any particular areas you would like us to address, just let us know at support@previser.co.uk
Integration with Kodak R4
We often use the word "simple" in connection with doing a PreViser assessment. If you are a user you will understand why. Nevertheless we are always striving to make the process of assessing your patient's risk as easy as possible, and in this vein, we are very happy to announce that we are now integrated with Kodak R4. Setting up the link is, well, simple. Just go to: 1. Any patient’s chart. 2. Tools 3. Options 4. Xray programs 5. Tick the “other” box 6. Put the path to the executable file in the box (to find out where this is, right click the PreViser icon on your desktop and view properties). To save the PreViser reports to your patient notes, just print to pdf using a free software such as cutepdf.com. For further information, just contact us or your Practiceworks helpdesk. Denplan article
Denplan asked us to produce an article on PreViser for their March edition of their newsletter. Have a read here to see how dentists are using PreViser and how they find it adds value to their practices.
