At THE SAINT, we don't take being your partner in leisure lightly. We know you love to relax, and we love to see you having a good time -- it what's we're here for. So, we'd like to invite you to an entire movie festival, on us.

Here's the deal: Every summer at HAVANA, our sister bar just up the street, we pull together a little something that can only be described as epic. It's called, quite simply, HAVANA MOVIE NITE, and this year it kicks off on Wednesday, August 5, with Seattle's only summertime screening of Spike Lee's DO THE RIGHT THING!

The details are as follows: We turn the parking lot outside of Havana into the finest outdoor movie theater ever, projecting the movie onto our giant white wall. We set up 100 lounge chairs -- complete with a beer cozy in the armrest -- in theater formation. Seattle City Light comes by to shut down the streetlights so that the lot is dark. And we persuade the Liquor Board to let us drink booze under the stars -- as in OUTSIDE. Then, we roll out white leather couches and armchairs, cocktail tables, a tiki bar, tiki torches, palm trees and blue astroturf.

Sounds incredible, right? That's not even the half of it.

This Wednesday, our good friends at VIA TRIBUNALI thought it would be a good idea to bring their pizza oven across the street to cook for you, and we couldn't agree more. We'll have DJ SEAN CEE on hand for the pre-movie and intermission soundtrack, and plenty of ice cold Miller High Life, in honor of Da Mayor! And the sound? Kelly Berry always comes with a system that will blow your mind! The picture is huge, and the night is always, well.... Like I said, it's epic!
