About Dr Robi
Dr Robi is an Aussie who knows no bounds. Over the past 15 years he’s gone from celebrity snowboard instructor to the rich and famous of Europe (including Prince Charles and Harry of Wales) to humanitarian activist for child-soldiers and sex-slaves (Pride of Australia Medal Finalist). As a devoted husband and father of three children, Dr Robi dedicates his life to ‘celebrating the value of family’ and ‘being a voice for children whose cry goes unheard.’ Dr Robi has recently returned from Haiti where he went to investigate child traffickers preying on vulnerable children. Nothing could have prepared him for what he discovered. The internal trafficking of Haiti's children for domestic servitude was much more rampant. Before the disaster UNICEF estimated there was more than quarter of a million children living as domestic slaves in Haiti. Due to the quake many of these children are now living on the streets begging for money and selling their bodies. Come and hear how by uniting efforts with humanitarian organisations and churches on the ground and around the world together we can try and abolish child slavery.
