9-month-old Sparrow is progressing well with her training. She is very eager and especially loves the shaping games we play. Whether it be putting her back feet up on a box, running to her mat and offering a down or circling a cone . We spend time every week working on these silly and fun shaping games. I think they are some of the best activities to build focus and relationship. Sparrow often looks at me with her “What’s next?” face. She hates it when the session is over and I say “That will do now”. Sparrow AKA Danc’n Paws will compete in her first trial later this month. She is entering the puppy level of APDT Rally at All Dogs Gym and at Wag It!
Wag it Games was launched April 10 & 11 with a seminar at Wag It. Twelve teams shared the fun of learning to skateboard, cross a bridge, go to a mat, heel on both sides and run complete courses. The trial premier take place Memorial Day weekend with Shadow, Independent, No Need For Speed Obstacle and Agility skills classes.
