Preview Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th June
9.30am - 5.00pm with Refreshments
exhibition continues to Friday 23rd July.

Our summer exhibition features a wide range of subjects ranging from architectural to nautical.

Emerson Chambers, in Newcastle seen here on a summer evening, was designed by Benjamin Simpson (who also designed the "Half Moon Inn" in the Bigg Market) in 1903. It is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau in the country.

Continuing with the architectural theme, I have also painted a number of buildings designed by "Andrea Palladio" in Vicenza Italy.

Over the last few years I have made a number of trips to the Gulf and have been fascinated by the old dhows and the souks.

Many of my "on the spot" sketch book studies have been developed into studio paintings and have been released into giclee prints which will also form part of the exhibition.
