Please pray that Hindu political leaders will fail to influence village people against the churches all over India. Pray the same for Buddhist leaders in Sri Lanka.

Please pray that peace will continue in Sri Lanka and that the churches in the war-torn areas will prosper.

Pray that God would open the doors wide for Y21 ministry in Sri Lanka.

Ask our faithful God to enable the Children's Gospel Club team and teachers to reach the goal of 10,000 active clubs in village churches in India and Sri Lanka.

Praise God that the churches in India are growing in their desire to raise money for in-country mission projects. For instance, during the July prayer days, Maharasthra churches raised Rs. 20,000 toward a life Center in Orrisa. Please pray that the Missionary Adopted Program will start as early as possible in village churches to support missionaries who are serving in North Indian States.

Please pray for Pastor Durairajan, the Erode Regional Coordinator, who has had a heart attack. The doctor is suggesting surgery in the next week. Pray also for Mrs. Sreedhar's husband who has become paralyzed recently. She is the very zealous WWM leader in Sri Lanka. Ask the Lord to heal her husband.

Pastor Jebaraj Asir, from the village of Kottaibayaragan, Dharmapuri district writes on the occasion of dedicating his new Life Center:
"My heart is filled with thanks and gratitude toward our Almighty God for His gracious and wonderful work in the ministry. We had tough times in ministry because of our lack of a church building, but He lifted us over our enemies by giving us a Life Center through the Vision 2000 movement. The people humiliated us as we worshiped on the roadside. It brought much shame on us. Thus, we suffered. Once, one of our church member’s drunken husband came and beat her at the time of worship. But now we have received a wonderful church building and by the grace of God the people have stopped humiliating us! At times, we still have opposition from political people. We work among high caste Hindus. Seventy five percent of the believers of the church is from this group.
Now, our church has also become a comforting center for people with AIDS. A meeting for these victims is held every two weeks. About 100 people attend and feel that our church is their home. Thus, our Life Center has become a caring center for the deserted people. I thank God for this new ministry. Please pray that many will be saved."
Galatians 2:10: "All they (the apostles in Jerusalem) asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do."
In chapter four of Galatians, Paul reminds his readers that those without Christ are living according to the basic principles of the world which are weak and miserable. When one becomes a Christian and lives under the powerful leadership of the Holy Spirit, generosity is to become one of the characteristics of that person. This is one reason why I so love to support India Gospel League financially and through intercession. Sam, Prati and the IGL team are generous because of the Spirit of Christ who lives in them and they constantly teach the pastors and other leaders of the National Association of Interdependent Churches to be generous also.
