Windy Weather is Wonderful for Wine
Those of you who have joined us for our Thursday wine tastings know; blind wine tasting is really fun! If you haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, there has never been a better time. In addition to training your pallate, our method of tasting service is interactive and entertaining; which we can all use on a dark and drizzly autumn evening. Not to mention it's a cozy and comforting way to warm up from the inside out!
As the weather gets colder and our thoughts turn to the holidays, I'd like to point out another useful aspect of wine tasting: Gift Research. To use a popular commercial phrase, now you can "Try Before You Buy!"
In keeping with that spirit (no pun intended), the Old Town Bistro will feature at least one of our luxury Sommelier's Selections in each weekly tasting from now through December. Don't forget: our wines are available for retail sale by the bottle, and we are pleased to offer a 20% discount the purchase of any bottle included in the tasting!
So come try before you buy, find that elusive gift for the person who has everything, escape the wind and weather, and join us for wine tasting - every Thursday evening from 6-9pm. Three whites, three reds, and appetizers with each for just $20. Furthermore, the full dinner menu of Chef Tomas is available every evening - and there is no better way to warm up a cold night than succulent food and wine.

P.S. Of course the proper way to follow an evening of wine is with a dusk of song... stay after 9 to enjoy Old Town Idol karaoke - nominated best in Central Kitsap! |
