The best laid plans of boxing mice often go with fries!

No, that's not it...

Rolling with the punches of mice and men can often end in pie...

No, that's not it either...

BREAKING NEWS:
WE ARE OPEN!

In 1937, classic American author John Steinbeck wrote "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."  Though decades have passed, and we have no mice here at the Old Town Bistro, the meaning of this oft-quoted statement has never lost it's relevance.

In respose today, I will reference a leading source from this decade: Wikipedia

  • Roll with the PunchesBoxing: To take adversity in stride; to adapt to difficult circumstances. A boxer who "rolls with the punches" moves his body away from the force of a blow so as to lessen their impact. OED cites the boxing term to 1941, the figurative to 1956

So, the bad news is that we've had a minor set-back in our Fire Sprinkler installation.
But the GOOD NEWS is that WE ARE NOW OPEN THIS WEEK!

So roll with the punches and come join us at the Bistro for knock-out dining and entertainment; including all your favorites like Salsa, Karaoke, and Wine Tasting!  Our October calendar will be up to date this morning, and updated daily as new information is available about our installation timeline.

Thank you all for your support - we look forward to serving you again soon here at the OTB!

Cheers,
