Building Our Community
Hi <<First Name>>, When I started The Center, I hoped that it would be a place where the various roles women play, and the psychological implications of those roles, could be investigated in depth. In the last month, I found myself interpreting Meryl Streep’s body language, talking about Facebook’s role in increasing the number of affairs, and speaking to my mother’s experience with domestic violence. It’s been a whirlwind! The different opportunities that have presented themselves over the past month have reminded me more than ever of the breadth and scope of our work here at The Center. We have become a hub for progressive women and men to gather and relate to each other and discuss important issues. This is a dream job for me and I can’t wait to see where we will go next! (Well, to be honest, I have some idea, but I'll save that for another email.) While we're on the topic of important issues, keep an eye out for new articles and interviews coming soon about miscarriage, bi-sexuality, and sex while trying to conceive. Yours truly,
