Getting To Know Your Potato Varieties

RUSSETS:  This white flesh/brown skinned potato is the potato that made Idaho famous.  It is the most versatile potato, with its most popular uses being BAKING, MASHING, and FRENCH FRYING.

REDS:  This white flesh/red skinned potato is the perfect counterpart to the Russet.  Its more softball shape is ideal for use in POTATO SALADS while this variety is also great for MASHING and FRYING.

YUKON GOLDS:  Still a relatively "new" variety, this yellow flesh/yellow skinned potato continues to gain popularity amongst potato lovers. Known for its rich buttery color, Yukon Gold potatoes are ideal for MASHING. They are also great for FRENCH FRYING or BOILING.

Not sure how to store your potatoes? We can help. Visit our VARIETIES PAGE to find more information.
