CanAm Trout Tour

In cooperation with Dave Brown Outfitters, Headhunters is proud to offer the CanAm Trout Tour!  Two days on the 'Mo, two days on the Bow.  That's right, enjoy hunting big trout on two of the best trout streams in North America.  We've reserved some of the best guides on both rivers for this trip.  As we head into what is forecast to be a tremendous hopper season oin the west, we anticipate excellent hopper fishing.

This trip is limited to 8 anglers.

Cost
Cost of the trip is $1750 per person. 

The Details
Anglers will fly into Great Falls, be picked up by Headhunters staff and transported to their riverside lodging near Craig.  The next two days will be spent fishing with some of Headhunters top guides.  On day 4, Headhunters will transport the group to Calgary via 15 passenger van to meet up with Dave Brown and his staff.  The following two days will be spent with top Bow River guides chasing some of the biggest trout in North America.  On the last day you'll depart from Calgary.

What's Included
Cost of the trip includes all ground transportation, guiding and lodging.  You'll be responsible for airfare, meals and gratuities.

Crossing the Border
All participants will need to carry their valid Passports to cross the border.  Criminality is the key word.  Background checks that reveal anything beyond a traffic ticket may result in denial of entry.  DUI/DWI's are cause for denial of entry.  If you have any questions about your background, call you local customs office.  It is not our responsibility to check you background.  Any members of the group who are denied entry will be left at the border. 





Hopper FIshing
Plan on tossing some big, meaty hoppers, to some big, meaty trout. 

What to Bring
  • Rods - 5-7 weight fast action rods.
  • Reels - high quality with solid drag systems and 100 yards of backing.
  • Lines - floating, but you might want a 10ft sink tip for streamer fishing.
  • Breathable Waders
  • PASSPORT !
Itinerary
  • July 26 - Fly to Great Falls, MT.  Transportation to Craig, MT.
  • July 27 - Fish the Missouri.
  • July 28 - Fish the Missouri.
  • July 29 - Drive to Calgary.  Transportation provided.
  • July 30 - Fish the Bow.
  • July 31 - Fish the Bow.
  • Aug 1 - depart Calgary.
